Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we have £2,000,000 Public Liability Insurance with Simply Business.
How much does it cost to hire the sensory room?

Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £50 refundable deposit will be taken to secure your booking. Please see the booking T&Cs at the bottom of the booking form for more details.
What time is delivery and collection for day hire?
PRIVATE GARDEN HIRES
Our standard delivery and collection times are as follows unless stated otherwise: From 2nd March to 30th September, deliveries begin at 8am, and collections are scheduled for 6pm the same day.
From 1st October to 1st March, we do not accept bookings for outdoor events. During this cold season, we only accommodate indoor events. You can select your preferred delivery and collection times during the booking process.
HALL OR VENUE BOOKINGS
For events held at a hall or venue, please allow at least 60 minutes for delivery and setup, followed by an additional 45 minutes for takedown. Be sure to include the times you have reserved the hall/venue and the event's start and finish times in your booking form to assist us in coordinating the delivery effectively.
What is a pop-up sensory room?
A pop-up sensory room is a portable space filled with sensory toys, lights, and calming activities designed to entertain and engage children. It’s ideal for creating a fun and inclusive environment at events.
What types of events can the sensory room be used for?
Our sensory room is perfect for birthday parties, christenings, weddings, school events, corporate functions, charity fundraisers, community days, and more.
What age group is the sensory room suitable for?
The sensory room is designed for children aged 1 to 14 years. It’s also suitable for older children with special educational needs (SEND). However, all ages can use the sensory room.
What’s included in the sensory room setup?
The setup includes a gazebo or designated area, sensory lights, tactile toys, and calming activities tailored to keep children entertained. For an extensive list of all equipment, please contact us.
Do you provide staff to supervise the children?
No, we do not provide supervision or childcare. Our team will deliver, set up, and collect the sensory room but will not stay on-site unless requested. Event organisers are responsible for arranging supervision of children.
Can the sensory room be set up both indoors and outdoors?
Yes! The sensory room can be set up indoors or outdoors on grass or a flat surface. We work with you to ensure the setup fits your venue.
How much space is needed for the sensory room?
The sensory room is 3m by 3m however, we require approximately 5m by 5m of space, but we can possily adapt the setup to fit your venue’s available area.
How long does it take to set up and take down the sensory room?
Setup usually takes about 60 minutes, depending on the venue. We’ll coordinate with you to ensure minimal disruption to your event. Take down is approximately 45 minutes.
Do you provide sensory toys for the children to keep?
Yes, within our Wedding Package, up to 5 children receive a sensory goody bag to take home. The goody bags include non-messy items like stress balls and fidget toys. These are also available to purchase separately for our Birthday Package or Corporate events too. Please add this to your booking form or contact us for more details.
Are there any messy items like slime or paint in the sensory room?
No, we ensure that all toys and activities are clean and mess-free. Children will enjoy a fun experience without worrying about getting dirty.
Can you customise the sensory room to match my event theme?
Yes, we can tailor the sensory room with specific colours, decorations, or toys to match your event’s theme. Let us know your preferences!
How far in advance should I book the sensory room for my event?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date, especially during peak seasons. Ideally, book at least 4–6 weeks in advance.
Can adults use the sensory room too?
While the sensory room is designed for children, adults are welcome to explore the space and engage with their children. It’s a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone!
What measures are in place to ensure the toys and equipment are clean and safe?
All sensory equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after each event to ensure it’s safe for use. We use professional, medical-grade cleaning products that have "at least 99.99% kill rate, effective against MRSA, Acinetobacter, VRE, Norovirus, Hepatitis B & C and many more. Also effective against SARS-Cov-2"
Can I hire the sensory room for multiple days?
Yes, we offer multi-day hire options. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll provide a tailored quote.
How can a sensory room enhance our event?
The sensory room provides a calming, inclusive space for people who might feel overwhelmed by the noise and activity of the main event. It’s a great way to ensure all families can enjoy the day.
Do you offer discounted rates for schools?
​We understand school budgets can be tight, and we’re happy to discuss flexible pricing options for educational events however as standard, we offer all schools 50% off the 2 hours corporate package price.
How does a sensory room benefit a wedding?
​Our sensory room keeps children entertained and engaged, allowing parents to relax and enjoy the celebration. It’s a stress-free solution for creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
Do children need adult supervision in the sensory room?
Yes, children must be supervised by their parents or guardians while in the sensory room. Our team does not provide childcare or stay on-site. Childcare must be orgainsed by the event organiser.
Is the sensory room available for outdoor weddings?
Yes, we can set up the sensory room in outdoor spaces such as marquees, gardens, or set up independently on its own on a grassed area.
